Happy 15 Months Parker!!

Today Parker is 15 Months old! I can't believe what a big boy he is becoming! He is measuring 32 inches and 25 pounds (75% for height, 50% for weight)! And guess what? He's finally taken to walking around more! See the video below! In the last two weeks Parker has gotten 3 molars which has put a wrench into the sleeping department, but things seem to be better right now. This week we are also embarking on a new sleep training routine.... trying to the get the little guy to put himself to sleep. Since the awful two month ear infection we have been rocking Prince Parker to sleep for his naps and bedtime. He's had it good! I don't have too much trouble getting him down, but he is much more difficult for my parents. Since my mom has a bad back, we decided its time to start teaching Parker to put himself to sleep. I envisioned painful nights of crying for both Parker and us! But so far, three days into it, it hasn't been too bad. He cries for about 5 minutes and then plays in his crib for a while (sometimes a long while!) before falling asleep. THANK GOD since we didn't really have a plan of attack if things went poorly!:) Below are some of Parker's favorites and his milestones:

First Words:
1.) Dada
2.) Daddy
3.) Mama
4.) Hi (which he said 3 times in Portland and not again since)
5.) Um Ma (His first Korean word, Mom)

First Signs:
1.) Milk, which is the squeezing of the hand (which he uses for water, when he wants more of something, and pretty much all the time haha.)
2.) Goodnight

Favorite Foods:
1.) Yogurt
2.) STRAWBERRIES... he ate 5 this morning!
3.) Grandma Moon's homemade Beef Noodle Soup full of veggies and protein!
4.) Sausage (thanks Grandma Sherri for this one! Good in the protein department since he can't have cheese!)
5.) Mayo (ah, just like mommy)
6.) Apples
7.) Green Beans

Other Favorites:
1.) Reading Books
2.) Scribbling with Crayons
3.) Riding in his stroller, car, tricycle outside
4.) Giving Kisses!!
5.) Pointing out facial features... he seems to have nose down pretty good. And he is starting to learn eye, mouth, and ears.

Parker is also starting to imitate more... he coughs when we cough, he laughs when we laugh, and when we try to startle him with a peek a boo, he tries to do it back.
The second video below is Parker imitating the TV- an episode of Yo Gabba Gabba is playing and they are singing about how when you get a boo boo, you "shake it off."
